Tracking

Monitor, alerts, the advisor, the portfolio, the Command Center, and the royalty calculator.

Monitor

Put books — yours, or competitors — and keywords under watch. Each one is re-checked on a schedule, and every reading is kept, so movement is measured rather than remembered.

A book must have been collected at least once before it can be tracked (research it, or report its ASIN from the KDP extension); a keyword must have been researched first, so there is a baseline to compare against. You can pause any watch, add a note to a book ("raised the price on the 3rd" is what explains a chart later), or stop tracking — everything already collected is kept.

Alerts

An alert is raised only when a change clears its threshold — a rank move, a price change, a competitor arriving or going unavailable. Silence means the checks are running and nothing has moved enough to matter. Alerts appear on the dashboard and go out as digests by email; you choose which kinds you want.

The advisor

Versioned rules run over your tracking history and suggest an action only when the evidence supports one — prioritise this keyword, look at that competitor, review a price, or explicitly hold. Every suggestion cites the readings it is based on and names its risks, always including that nothing here sees sales. Quiet is a real answer.

Portfolio

Your catalogue by pen name and series, a launch calendar for titles with a planned date, and per-title summaries built from tracking history — each honest about how much history it needs before it means anything.

Command Center

With the Command Center upgrade: every tracked title on one table — Best Seller Rank, price, rating and reviews at the last reading, and how far each moved over the last seven days, measured from your own readings. A title with a single reading shows no movement rather than a made-up zero. The upgrade also raises your tracking limits to 100 books and 1,000 keywords and turns on competitor alerts.

The royalty calculator

Type a price and a page count and get KDP's royalty maths — the 35% and 70% bands, delivery and printing costs — with a card showing where each figure comes from, so the numbers can be checked rather than trusted. No credits, no collection, and it never claims to know how many copies will sell.
