Terms of Service
Last updated 7 August 2026
These terms cover what you can expect from RoyaltyMiner AI, what we expect from you, and what happens with the data on either side. They are written to be read.
1. Who you are contracting with
These terms are an agreement between you and RoyaltyMiner AI ("we", "us"), the operator of RoyaltyMiner AI ("the Service").
By creating an account, or by using the Service, you accept these terms. If you are accepting them for a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
2. What the Service is
The Service collects information that is publicly visible on Amazon — search results, book listings, categories, prices, ratings, review counts, and Best Seller Rank — keeps a history of it, and presents scores, comparisons, and recommendations built from that history.
RoyaltyMiner AI is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon, it does not connect to your Amazon or KDP account, and it has no access to your sales figures, royalties, or advertising data.
Everything the Service produces is informational. Publishing decisions, and their consequences, remain yours.
3. Your account and your workspace
You need an account to use the Service, and each account belongs to one person. Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to your account.
Registration creates a workspace. A workspace can hold several people under owner, admin, member, and viewer roles, and the owner controls billing and membership. If you invite someone into your workspace you are responsible for what they do in it, and they can see the research, tracking, and notes it contains.
Two-factor authentication and passkeys are available on every plan. We strongly recommend enabling one of them, particularly on an account that controls billing.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- resell, redistribute, or republish the data the Service collects as a dataset, feed, or competing product;
- work around plan limits, rate limits, or workspace isolation, whether by additional accounts, automation, or otherwise;
- access the Service by automated means beyond the interfaces and limits we provide;
- attempt to breach, test, or interfere with the security of the Service or the separation between workspaces, other than through a disclosure you report to us;
- use the Service unlawfully, or to infringe anyone's rights.
Exports and reports are for use inside your own publishing business. Sharing an occasional report with a client or collaborator is fine; standing redistribution is not.
5. Plans, payment, and renewal
Paid plans are billed monthly in US dollars, in advance, and renew automatically until stopped. Prices are exclusive of any sales tax or VAT, which is added where it applies. The current plans are Author at $29 a month, Publisher at $59 a month and Studio at $99 a month.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card details — we hold only a customer reference, the card type, and its last four digits, so that the billing page can show you which card is in use.
If a payment fails and is not recovered, the workspace returns to the free plan. Nothing already collected is deleted, but the limits and refresh frequency of the free plan apply until payment succeeds.
You may change plan at any time. An upgrade takes effect immediately and is charged pro rata by Stripe. To cancel, email us at support@royaltyminerai.com — the subscription ends at the end of the period you have paid for, and we do not refund part-used months except where the law requires it.
We may change prices. Existing subscribers are told at least 30 days before a change affects them, and may cancel before it takes effect.
6. The free plan
Every workspace starts on the free plan. It does not expire and does not require a card.
Because collecting market data costs us money on every request, we may change the free plan's limits with reasonable notice, and may suspend a free workspace that is being used to generate cost disproportionately — for example, through automation or multiple accounts created to avoid a paid plan.
7. Your data, and market data
These are two different things, and the distinction matters.
- Your content — what you choose to track, your projects, notes, pen names, series, and settings — remains yours. You grant us the licence needed to host and process it in order to run the Service, and nothing more.
- Market data — observations of public Amazon pages, and the scores computed from them — is not exclusive to you. The same observation may answer another customer's question, which is what makes the Service affordable and why a search often returns instantly. Market data, and the collection, scoring, and history built around it, remain ours.
You can export your content within the limits of your plan. How long we keep it, and what happens when you leave, is described in the Privacy Policy.
8. What we do not promise
Scores, alerts, and recommendations are estimates drawn from evidence that is partial by nature. The Service tells you how confident it is and which factors it could not measure, and you should read both. It does not predict sales, and it does not guarantee any rank, visibility, or commercial outcome.
Amazon controls the pages the Service reads. It may change, restrict, or withhold them, which can delay or interrupt collection through no fault of ours.
The Service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing here is legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available and will schedule disruptive maintenance considerately, but we do not offer a service level guarantee on any plan.
The Service will change. Features are added, altered, and occasionally withdrawn. If we materially reduce something a paid plan relies on, we will tell subscribers in advance and you may cancel.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time, and may ask us to close your account and delete your data.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, does not pay, or puts the Service or its other customers at risk. Except where the breach is serious or unlawful, we will tell you first and give you a reasonable chance to put it right.
When an account closes, access ends and your content is deleted on the schedule set out in the Privacy Policy. Market data already collected remains part of the shared record.
11. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost sales, lost rankings, lost data, or any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability arising out of the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your unlawful use of the Service or your breach of these terms.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and we will give notice by email or in the application before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use the Service afterwards means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
The governing law and forum for disputes have not been set for this deployment. Until they are, no choice of law is asserted here and your own mandatory local rights are unaffected.
