RoyaltyMiner AI

Built for Amazon KDP authors and publishers

Know what changed, why it matters, and what to do next.

RoyaltyMiner AI watches the KDP market for you — keywords, categories, Best Seller Rank, prices, reviews, and competing titles — and keeps the history. What you get back is an opportunity score you can argue with and recommendations that cite the evidence behind them.

Free to start and no card required. Your workspace opens on the Trial plan with 15 research requests a month, 1 tracked book and 10 tracked keywords — stay on it as long as you like.

What makes RoyaltyMiner AI different

No numbers we cannot stand behind

RoyaltyMiner AI does not estimate sales or search volume. Nothing that can be observed from public pages establishes either, so nothing here pretends to. Every figure you see was measured.

Every score shows its working

A score arrives with the factors that produced it, the weight each carried, and the ones that could not be measured. A factor that is missing lowers confidence rather than quietly dragging the number down.

History is the whole point

One reading is a fact. Two are a trend. RoyaltyMiner AI keeps the record — ranks, prices, ratings, review counts, who was on page one — so today's number has something to be compared against.

What it does

One place for the whole publishing decision.

From choosing what to write, through launch, to knowing what your catalogue is doing six months later.

RoyaltyMiner AI Research

Search a keyword or a niche and see who actually holds page one — titles, prices, ratings, review counts, publication dates — scored for how hard it would be to enter. Keep the ones worth returning to as saved projects.

RoyaltyMiner AI Write

Write the book with a guided walkthrough — outline, chapter briefs, then the chapters themselves. Start from nothing, from a concept your research drafted, or from a manuscript you already have. It stops and asks before it spends, and the price of every step is on the button before you press it.

RoyaltyMiner AI Royalties

What one sale actually pays, after Amazon's share and the cost of printing — paperback, hardcover or Kindle, at any price, trim and page count. Every rate is linked to the KDP page it came from, so it can be checked rather than trusted.

RoyaltyMiner AI Monitor

Put a book or a keyword under watch. RoyaltyMiner AI re-checks it on a schedule and records Best Seller Rank, price, rating, review count, and availability every time, so the change between two dates is a fact rather than a memory.

RoyaltyMiner AI Portfolio

Every title you publish in one view, across pen names and series, with what moved this week and what did not. A panel that cannot be computed says so — an empty dashboard should never be mistaken for a healthy one.

RoyaltyMiner AI Alerts

A rank slide, a competitor going unavailable, a review surge, a new title arriving on page one. Only changes large enough to be worth your attention, with the readings that triggered them attached.

RoyaltyMiner AI Advisor

Recommendations built from your own history: hold your metadata while a trend is running, look at a competitor that just appeared, review a price, think twice about a concentrated niche. When the evidence is thin, it says so instead of guessing.

RoyaltyMiner AI Teams

Shared workspaces with owner, admin, member, and viewer roles, invitations by email, and an activity record of who changed what. Research done by one person stays available to everyone who needs it.

How it works

Five steps, and no surprises about the timing.

  1. 1

Search a keyword or a niche

RoyaltyMiner AI collects the live page-one results. That takes a few seconds, occasionally a couple of minutes when Amazon is busy. You can leave the page — the result is saved either way.

  2. 2

Read the score, and its reasoning

You get an opportunity score out of 100, a confidence level, the factors that moved it, and a list of the factors that could not be measured yet with the reason for each.

  3. 3

Write it, a step at a time

Turn a concept into an outline, chapter briefs, and then chapters. RoyaltyMiner AI stops after each stage and asks before it spends anything, unless you tell it not to. Bring a manuscript you already have and it carries on from there instead.

  4. 4

    Track what matters

Add a book or keyword to Monitor and it is checked on your plan's schedule. The first check runs within a minute; comparisons appear from the second check, because until then there is nothing to compare against.

  5. 5

Act when the evidence is there

Alerts surface changes worth your attention. Advisor turns a few days of history into recommendations that name the readings behind them — and stays quiet when the history is too thin to support one.

Scoring

11 factors, every one of them arguable.

The opportunity score is a transparent weighted sum, not a black box. You can see each input, what it measures, and how much it counted — because no publisher should act on a number they cannot interrogate.

Anything that cannot be measured from the evidence at hand is excluded and reported, which lowers the confidence shown beside the score rather than silently changing it.

Currently scoring model v1.0. Every score records the version that produced it, so a change to the model is visible rather than retroactive.

  • Competition depth

The median review count among organic competitors. Fewer reviews means less entrenched competition.

  • Shelf crowding

How many titles compete for this phrase. This measures competition, not reader demand.

  • Price headroom

The median price competitors charge. Higher prices mean more revenue per sale at the same volume.

  • Review concentration

How unevenly reviews are spread across the results. A few dominant titles above a weak field leaves room to enter.

  • Competitor satisfaction

The median rating of competing titles. Weaker ratings suggest readers are not being well served.

  • Competitive entry rate

The share of top results published in the last year. Heavy recent entry means positions turn over quickly.

  • Median book age

The median age of competing titles. Older results are easier to beat on freshness and presentation.

  • Search result stability

How much the top results change between collections. A settled page is harder to break into.

  • Seasonal demand

Whether interest in this niche rises and falls with the calendar. Requires a full year of history.

  • Publisher concentration

How much of the page one publisher holds. A single dominant imprint is harder to displace.

  • Rank volatility

How much competitors' Best Seller Ranks move over time. Steady ranks mean firmly held positions.

Every workspace starts on Trial — free, and not a countdown

15 research requests a month, 1 tracked book and 10 tracked keywords. No card, no expiry, and enough to run a real search, read a real score, and watch one book. Upgrade when the limits start getting in your way.

Get started

Limits are enforced at the moment you act, so you are told before something runs out rather than after. When the market data behind a search has already been collected recently, your answer comes from it immediately instead of waiting on a fresh collection — your billing page shows how often that happened.

Questions worth answering before you sign up.

Is RoyaltyMiner AI affiliated with Amazon?

No. RoyaltyMiner AI is an independent product. It reads the same public Amazon pages any reader can open, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon.

Do you estimate sales or search volume?

No, and this is deliberate. Nothing observable on a public listing establishes how many copies a book sells or how many people typed a phrase, so every figure claiming otherwise is a model of a model. RoyaltyMiner AI reports what it measured — ranks, prices, ratings, review counts, who is on page one, and how all of it moves.

Which storefront do you cover?

Amazon US (amazon.com) at launch. The schema and collectors already carry other storefronts, so more can be switched on, but nothing is listed as supported before it is collecting reliably.

How long before it is useful?

A search is useful immediately — it returns in seconds with a score and its reasoning. Tracking is different: comparisons need a second reading, so a book added today starts showing change at its next check. Advisor needs a few days of history before it will recommend anything, and it will tell you it is waiting rather than invent something.

How often is tracked data refreshed?

It depends on the plan. Weekly on Trial; daily on Author and Publisher; and every 6 hours on Studio. Refresh frequency is the main driver of what collection costs, which is why it belongs to the plan rather than to a slider.

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. Registration creates your workspace on the free plan with no payment details, and it does not expire. You are only asked for a card when you choose a paid plan.

What happens to my history if I change plan?

It stays. Plans differ in how far back you can look and how often new data is collected, not in what is thrown away. If money gets tight, ask us before cancelling — there is a reduced plan that keeps everything already collected.

Can more than one person use it?

Yes. A workspace can hold several people with owner, admin, member, and viewer roles, invited by email. Seats differ by plan — from 1 on Trial up to 10 on Studio.
